Being More: Helping UiTM University Students and Lecturer Discover the Latest in Malaysian PR Industry Requirements


Just one semester away from entering the industry,  27 public relations students from UiTM – Malaysia’s largest local university – visited essence Burson-Marsteller to understand the real-life requirements of professional agency work.
Accompanied by their lecturer, Associate Professor Dr. Kiranjit Kaur, the students had a robust discussion session with essence Burson-Marsteller’s Managing Directors, Elliza Rahim and Joshua Purushotman on key industry expectations for interns as well as new graduates.
The eBM team shared key best practices and case studies surrounding the variety of consultancy work in the Malaysian market as well as information on its TalentCorp-recognized internship program. essence Burson-Marsteller has multiple awards from Malaysia and internationally, including the recent regional win at the ASEAN A&M Awards and being honoured at the Malaysian PR Awards with Gold Award for crisis management work.
